Teachers 3D-print new finger for student who lost hers in car accident

She can write, type, play catch again A student struggling with the loss of her right index finger has gained the ability to do the things she loves once again thanks to 3D-printing technology. AC Lingerfelt was worried she’d never be able to throw a softball or play the piano again, but thanks to a 3D-printed finger made for her by her teachers and friends, she can do both of those activities and more.
