In my last article, I discussed the use of 3D printing for scale model hobbyists. Hobbyists are discovering 3D printing to be a useful tool to make customized parts, or even create detailed models from scratch and shared a few of my own 3D printed models.
3D modeling may seem daunting to many 3D printing hobbyists, but the learning curve isn’t as steep as many think and there has never been a better time to start learning. It’s fun to browse sites like Thingiverse for free models , but there’s a certain satisfaction that comes from printing something you designed yourself.
