3D printing is increasingly becoming an attractive proposition in many manufacturing applications involving customizable products. One sector that stands to benefit is the medical and dental industry, where medical devices can be readily customized to user needs. That is the premise of a new report by IDTechEx Research, “3D Printing in the Medical and Dental Industry 2019-2019.” The report forecasts 3D printing in the medical and dental industry to be worth over $8.1 billion by 2029.
