Hearing your comment on the belts and having to adjust the gears….I had the original version of this printer (8-bit controller version) and had the same problem. The “L” shaped stepper mounts that attach the steppers to the bottom of the frame weren’t bent at 90° so the belts would creep away from the stepper and pop off of the belt gears or cause abnormal wear on the belts causing them to break. The original version didn’t have a super sturdy frame either and would strip screws easily when having to do repairs for the belts popping off or breaking. Otherwise, LOVED that machine. Sounds like they might have fixed some of these issues.

Great video.. I went out on the back of this video and got this model.. albeit a slightly different one… power switch is different, but not an issue.. Went to auto level, and all the arms went up, but as they start to come down, it all freezes up and does not want to do anything more.. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on, but the same thing happens all the time.. Any idea before I have to send it back??

Check out the 3D Printing Today group on LinkedIn. There are roughly 60,000 members, many of them are from the UK. I would suggest joining the group and ask your question there.
