Celebrating New Jersey Makers Day: Activities Abound Today at Belmar Community Makerspace

BELMAR, NJ — A full array of activities are on the Belmar Community Makerspace’s schedule today, as it joins hundreds of locations across the state participating in the fifth annual New Jersey Makers Day. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.on March 23, visitors will be able to explore this innovative hub specially designed for creators, builders, innovators and artists at every age and skills level — located in the Belmar Community Center/Library Annex at 503 Seventh Avenue. “The Belmar Public Library Community MakerSpace is proud to be a participating site for New Jersey Makers Day,” said library assistant Luis Pulido, who manages the facility, which opened last October. “Community members of all ages are invited to join us for an exciting day filled with activities focusing on maker culture,” he said. “Come ready to take part in fun hands-on activities learning how to make things using different skills and […]
